Powering Possibilities

Lululemon Brings Solar Energy to Hikmat Foundation School

In a powerful collaboration rooted in sustainability and education, Lululemon has partnered with Hikmat Foundation to bring solar energy to Noor Girls High School in Meghwal Mathia, Bihar. This transformative initiative provides a clean, reliable power source to support learning for more than 400 girls, and marks a major step forward in bridging the digital divide in rural India.

Until now, frequent power outages hindered access to the school’s digital tools and computer lab, limiting both instruction and opportunity. With the installation of solar panels, students now enjoy uninterrupted access to electricity, enabling them to fully utilize digital learning platforms and resources across subjects like science and math.

The impact goes beyond students. Teachers are now better equipped to engage with virtual training tools, enhancing their instructional methods and deepening the quality of education. Classrooms are brighter — literally and figuratively — and the school is now positioned to build a more technology-integrated curriculum.

This project reflects a shared vision: to create a world where education is not limited by infrastructure, and where every girl has the chance to thrive. Lululemon’s partnership with Hikmat Foundation aligns with government-recognized social priorities, while advancing their global commitment to well-being and social impact.

At Hikmat Foundation, we know that empowerment begins with access. And through this partnership, we are lighting the way: one classroom, one student, one future at a time.

Our deepest thanks to Lululemon for making this vision a reality.
